Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026
By using DineCast (the "App") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
DineCast provides crowd-sourced and estimated restaurant wait times, crowd levels, and related information. Estimates can be wrong. Restaurants, hours, and waits change without notice. Use your own judgment.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App or at dinecast account deletion.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of reports, comments, and photos you submit. You grant DineCast a worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the service. Do not submit content that is false, abusive, infringing, or unlawful. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms. Users can report content, and content that is reported repeatedly is hidden automatically pending review.
4. Restaurant owners
Owner accounts must be operated by someone authorized to represent the business. Claims are verified by hand and may be declined or revoked. Owner status updates and announcements must be accurate.
5. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service, or submit automated or fraudulent reports.
6. Third-party data
Restaurant listings, photos, and map data come from Google and Apple and are subject to their terms. DineCast is not affiliated with Google, Apple, Yelp, or any restaurant.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DineCast is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any wait, meal, or trip decision you make based on the App.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
